   The black ink works almost exactly the same as the Canon brand. I did have some difficulty trying to get the color ink to work though. The colors never came out exactly as they were supposed to so it never looked quite as good as it should have. However, there is a big price difference for the compatible cartridges and if you can get them to work it is well worth it.

   I have a Cannon Pixma. We have used 2 Black and white and 1 color cartrige with no problems so far. The Black is more of a very very dark grey than a true black ( as compared to toner from a “laser Jet” printer but still looks ok. Very happy so far. Definitely a good investment so far.

   I have noticed a small problem with a couple of the Black cartridges. They seem to run out quick but in doing so they have no ink streaks. Then I clean the heads and their fine. The problem has occurred 2-3 times already and I am only on my 2nd cartridge. I suspect the quality of the ink is poor and is clogging up the print head.
